Nationalist decals completed. The decals are weird and tend to curl at the edges, I've glued down the curled areas with gloss varnish.
It's time to re-focus on the Republican paint scheme and it's finer mottled type camouflage effect and get it's decals

Decalling commencement. These decals are slightly transparent and they tend to curl up at the edges. I think I'll take this process nice and slowly with sol & set application but only a couple of decals per Session. Will seal them before moving on.

Further progress on the Spanish Hawker Fury. Nationalist camouflage added and Mr Hobby semi-gloss coat added. Decals the next step. The Republican paint scheme will take a bit longer since it's more involved camouflage.

A bit more progress on the pair of Hawker Furys. Brush application of Light blue to the Underside and top side sand colours. Several coats have been applied, and likely several more thin ones required.

I pulled this subject from my shelf of doom. It's a 1:48 Tamiya Nashorn. I started this sometime ago for Hobbydude group build over in the other place, not long before HD dropped off social media grid sadly. I'm not sure where the tracks are!

Small progress on Airfix's 1:72 swordfish. First time I've used my airbrush in months, I fell out of favour with it simply due to the fiddly and smelly nature of the thing. My chaotic building nature has resulted in me losing the damn canopy!

Very happy I finally managed to carry out repairs to the power board on my LG OLED TV. Bought a repair kit late last year and after procrastinating too long took the plunge. Replaced Film capacitors and MOSFETs and TV works a treat !

Progressing a messerschmmitt backlog. Im keep to get these complete and to move onto something different. Both are airfix 1:72 Bf109. One will be No.8 western desert '41; the other a Bulgarian Air force machine '42.

Masking removal. I feel like an archaeologists carefully lift off each masking peice. These masks have been on for a long long time. I'd forgotten I used some PE in the cockpit. Its barely visible.

Trying something a little different. Might be too much for 72 scale.

Slowly chipping away at this resurrection build - Italeri Bf-110 D3,1:72 scale. Clear coated then realised I forgot the white band. Masked & sprayed okay, only 2nd time I've airbrushed this year. Unfortunately mask has pulled up the paint, patch-up time!

I haven't painted a mini for a long time. Here's my wip effort.

This is a resurrection of a build I started well over 10y/o. Its Italeri Bf-110 D3, 1:72 scale. I'm not sure what I've done with the U/carriage and how those masks will come off, if at all. I recall this was my first experience of using PE as well.

WiP: Bf109 Mottling started. Sketched out mottles with heavily thinned paint. Looking very scrappy at the moment but hopefully will smarten up in due course as more coats are added.

WiP on the bf109s. Adding more layers of thin paint and trying to introduce some total differences. The tropical 109 has been semi-glossed ready for the application of the bottling. The Bulgarian 109 is slow, Green has been tough to get variations.

Slow progress, as typical for me, here's some minor progress updates on the Bf109's on my bench:

Since I had two started Bf109E's knocking about, thought it high time to Completed them. I plan to hand-paint in north africa black 8 as well as the Royal Bulgarian scheme.

Presenting Airfix's FW190 1:72 scale. This is a starter kit, but painted with lifecolors. The modelling has been a longtime shelf lingerer and it's nice to finish it off. I managed to break off all the guns and pitot tube. Replaced with brass tubing.
