Is Rodrygo still considered a player that would raise levels at Arsenal? Obviously lots of unknowns after tearing his ACL, but there’s even less of a spot for him in the lineup now in Madrid.

Depth and continuity. Quality in depth too. I just want us to play better football in the spring, we’ll see by January whether someone needs to be brought in for that to happen.

Loan to Dortmund seems like the perfect plan for Nwaneri in isolation, but there must be a signing in the pipeline. I would love a mirrored Madueke type on the left, someone with speed who can create havoc and attract attention. Noni himself is unfortunately not great on the left wing.

I hope Martinelli gets a proper send off if he goes for that pile of money in Saudi. He’s young enough to return to Europe still, that transfer’s not a death sentence by any means.

Rewatching the Coventry game. A lot has been said of Tzolis on the ball, but I also love how he constantly offers to make runs off the ball, traveling across their back line finding gaps. He made that cross to Saka from his right and found some striker-esque lanes where we never made the pass.
