S5s T&D and I are over the moon that every Thursday this term we are paired reading with nursery children from Glenbervie Nursery. I kicked things off with the book we’re going to be reading at the next @lrsfalkirk.bsky.social Book Group…it got a great response! #bepartofit

Delighted to say that the book fair is going like a...fair! @braeshighschool.bsky.social staff and students still have til Tuesday to pop in and pick up one of those books everyone is talking about!
Inspired by The Traitors, #wordsforwellbeing today focussed on unreliable narrators. I kicked things off by reading a bit of a golden oldie, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. A joy to introduce this classic book to a new generation of readers!

This year, rather than just one S2 class participating in RED, we have offered it up to all S2 as an elective. We met for the first time last week and I introduced the shortlist to much enthusiasm!
