I once did this but those 2 or 3 friends suddenly started thinking they were superior to everyone else and started shit talking about the entire fandom claiming they were the only true fans and once they got bored they proceeded to isolate and attack me like they did with the rest lmfao
how to make any fandom fun:
- block a lot of people
- find 2 or 3 friends who are either into the same thing or will listen to you yapping about it anyway
- do your thing, don’t give a shit what anyone else thinks
