There is no place in Canada for this. I’ve lived in Canada for decades and have never encountered anyone who holds this level of bigotry. It’s not who we are. I see #SecondSonsCanada as an aberration. Steroid-fuelled racist idiots is more like it.

#SecondSonsCanada isn’t just a fringe operation. Why? Because right wing political parties in 🇨🇦 have created a permission structure for a lot of the same ideology within their membership & to attract members. From the #UCP to #CPC, there are elements of this extremism as well as pandering to it.

Put another way, Ford wants to spend more on removing bike lanes in Toronto ($48M) than he's spent protecting all of Ontario's businesses from an international trade war.
Ontario deserves serious leadership, that follows through on promises, and actually puts people before profits.
