Have seen this Nature piece about the effects of X's algorithm mentioned again and it bears repeating; exposure to a right wing algorithm makes you - measurably and predictably - more right wing, even after you stop using it.

Some British heatwave observations: a) it really brings out those annoying competitive people who have to “win”everything, totally disregarding people’s bodies and houses are built differently. You didn’t win the heatwave because you’re not on SSRIs, or menopausal, or living in a new build flat.
