On the radio this morning @patskarvelas.bsky.social announced she would be speaking with the Israeli ambassador. The IDF murdered an Australian. To think otherwise would be naive. Why is the @news.abc.net.au giving air time to a spokesperson of the IDF?

Even academics appear to agree that cartoons are a good way to start the day:

Newspaper space for political cartoons is shrinking – but we need these artists as much as ever
The cartooning industry is still struggling to adapt to the 21st century media business model.

Hey @albomp.bsky.social when are you going to do something about the JRG scheme? Until you do I cannot possibly think about a first preference for Labor.

Disappointed that Pyscho Killer didn't feature in the movie. A reason I went to see it was it featured in the trailer. A Private Life opened with it. Didn't like Emma, but then she was playing a lawyer. Favourite characters were the winter lambs (one was a winter ram).

Matildas v Iran. Bit tough for the Iranian women. Protestors outside the game. Matildas won 4-0, but have not been really challenged in the first too games.

I haven't watched any traditional motorsports for a while. Every time I saw the Aramco advertising it would turn me off. However, this will be a bitter disappointment for MotoGP followers. Phillip Island always provided close and exciting racing.

At 5:00AM when I walked my dog it was 26C with appalling humidity. There are fires AND flooding in Victoria. What is @albomp.bsky.social doing? Working on hate speech laws that nobody likes. Morrison was doing that just before going to Hawaii to escape the bush fires.

I hope it will come back if journalists like you can keep producing articles like this:

"If Nvidia is the bellwether of the industry, its performance should have a calming effect."

Nvidia is not a bellwether of AI. They actually produce something: chips for AI, graphics processors, etc. If their stocks were hit it would be seen in the users of their chips first.

I cannot imagine what a rabble would look like to Littleproud.
"Mr Littleproud – who said the six-month squabble to get to Sunday’s announcement was a “calm, considered process” – also said the Nationals Party “believes in reducing emissions” as a “core principle”."
The Australian: A growing number of moderate Liberal MPs are pulling their support for Sussan Ley and are backing Andrew Hastie to be the next leader, arguing she has caved to his agenda and he has a better chance of lifting the Coalition’s stocks electorally.
