On a personal level, my fundamental issues with the greens is that whatever the influences at work, it fundamentally isn't a socialist party.
It's definitely a much stronger brand of social-democrat than the other mainstream parties (I consider it a net positive that we can now call it such!) and-

Your Party, Alba, and the various even smaller parties have never answered the question "why aren't you the Greens?" - the Scottish Greens being pro-independence and heavily influenced by eco-socialism. I say that as more of a red than a green by background.
