Sometimes, I still think about that Canadian man who was scammed out of $450k in a bitcoin/shitcoin trading scheme, and he said scammers sent him to a platform named "Crypto Circus." And at no point did that stop him.

It’s absolutely incredible that one of the largest Japanese-run Go servers, which has been running since 1992, is still accessed entirely via Telnet. And while most players use GUI clients that use Telnet under the hood, you can still connect manually and get ASCII graphics streamed to you

My guiltiest pleasure is reading X threads where MAGA bros from red-hot states hype themselves for their glorious conquest of Greenland and Canada. Then I drive back home, and think "Unless they're from Alaska, they're not ready."

I may be preaching in the desert, but I'll never stop encouraging fiction writers to use 3D, especially where action scenes are concerned. :)

In Unrelated this week I need to work on THE COUNT (but global news anxiety is preying on me...)

I'm happy to be back to something that might appeal to a mixed audience.
