Another Sunday and another long form live portrait session. Once again I used transparent red oxide as the underpainting colour - which seems to yield less ashy portraits. Finally managed to produce a decent mostly finished painting in the time.

So many shill news stories covering the Space-x launch. The booster crashed when engines failed. The “deployed” satellites were not released in orbit so immediately burned up.

Disappointed by the #mandalorian and Grogu movie. Some nice visuals ruined by a dull boiler-plate story executed as a live-action cartoon. Star Wars can be better than this.

For once, I’m pretty happy with a portrait done live. I have another long session this Sunday. Let’s see if I can do it again.
A little bit more work on the portrait I did on Sunday. Not crazy about my paint application but like the feel of this one.
