Someone describes their AI workflow to me. Forty minutes later, in the same call, they describe what they actually do on a Tuesday.

Two different accounts. Almost nobody notices they gave me both.

Two thirds of office workers have used AI they believed was banned at work. A third deliberately hide it from their manager.

Almost every write-up of that survey called it a governance failure. I read it the other way round. The ban is what produces the hiding.
