I finished reading the best book that I’ve read in a long time. Great writing, great characters, and plot but the more i think about the premise the more frustrated I’m getting.

I watched Predator (1987) for the first time (I’m thinking about using it as a comp to pitch a short scifi I’m writing - Predator x high school prom), and it holds up really well.
There’s also a lot more explosions than I anticipated. Like the budget was 80% explosions.
