There’s something in these all of these anecdotes about Dolly’s understanding of bodily autonomy and self-actualization and how those are tied to *all* women’s ability to pursue and achieve their dreams but a cis gay guy like me is not the person to write it.

One of the great parts about growing up as a Gen Xer was Dolly Parton was EVERYWHERE when we were kids. She was on the radio, showing up on television, in great movies. And no one was ever like "You know who I'm fucking sick of? That Dolly Parton." A glorious time to be alive.

As I've said many times, the revocation of TPS for Haitians is horrific on its face, but it's *also* going to have a devastating cascade of effects because Haitian workers are the backbone of health and human services supports for elderly and disabled folks, especially here in Massachusetts.
My Haitian friend was just fired from his job. "They said I don't have a legal status now."
This is likely happening to hundreds of thousands of people across this country today. Sick.
