Our urban forests are irreplaceable! Trees bring shade, clean air, flood protection, climate benefits & health benefits. Toronto City Council will be voting soon on a plan for stronger private trees protection.

Moments ago, Premier Danielle Smith's government made a terrifying decision and introduced legislation to suspend the charter-protected rights of transgender young people in Alberta.

Now is the time to act. Visit www.stop-smith.ca to sign our petition denouncing this draconian erosion of freedom.

Four youth are suing the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, saying it’s failing to protect their pensions from climate risk.

It’s the first Canadian lawsuit to challenge a pension fund’s climate management. CPP is "flying blind" to the risks of climate change, says @ecojusticecanada.bsky.social.

This is fantastic!
The only thing better than a protected bike lane, is a protected bike lane with artworks by local artists! The new Lansdowne Avenue cycle track murals are looking good. Shoutout to Street Art Toronto, Cycle Toronto and the City of Toronto Cycling and Pedestrian Projects Unit.
