I just saw this pic of Mike Johnson shaking Trump’s hand at some function. Are the GOP, incl the guy 2nd in line to the Presidency, bowing to Trump these days? This is the kind of thing one sees in England when an Englishman is meeting King Charles. What is this BS? We don’t bow to our leaders!

My Puck and Jig. Puck, 6, is “my” cat. Jig is a community cat who was clearly abandoned. He’s massively affectionate & loves kisses, getting & giving. He retired to my best friend’s more laid back colony. He’s now over 20 & likes the indoors quite a bit more, especially when I visit. 🐈⬛❤️❤️

Also my Jig. A void who appeared in my yard as 2nd in command of a colony of community cats. Clearly abandoned, not feral, as he was/is massively affectionate, but didn’t want to be inside more than a few seconds. He is now over 20 years old & likes being inside way more often. 🐈⬛❤️

My Puck, who is currently 150 miles away with my best friend, whom I was helping after she broke her elbow in a bike accident, after I inadvertently got stuck at home after a doctor’s appt, meeting that ran late & a tainted salad from a fast food place prevented me from driving back. 🙁🐱💔

This is Tuxie. He was about 10 years old. He had seemed sleepy a lot for a few days, but it was summer & over 100° outside, so I wasn’t terribly surprised that he wanted to nap in the cool. One morning this March, he had trouble breathing. The vet said he had congestive heart failure. That was it.

I don’t know Lauren Sanchez, Bezos’s fiancée, but what she was wearing to the inauguration was inappropriate imho. Who wears a visible bra top to a solemn (dystopian?) occasion? Yes, it’s a petty comment & I’m no Trump fan, but it just hit a nerve.
