Meddle by Pink Floyd is a funny album: 6 tracks 47 minutes
bookending tracks are some of their best work and crush the rest of the album, which ranges from nice to kinda stupid
first track is like 6 minutes and last track is like 23 minutes, so it works out despite most the tracks being kinda mid

I think we've raised the floor with AI, not lowered it. With AI, almost anyone can be average. But true artists will learn average faster so they can start transcending it sooner.

i have zero interest in most modern low budget shlock because it’s doing this self conscious “haha so bad it’s good just like the 80s!” thing. but you can’t produce that intellectually. you need to be trying to make a normal movie and have it come out wrong because you’re a crazy person
