The fact that Musk himself is sponsoring so many of the anti-trans ads this cycle presents a pretty golden opportunity for Dems to point out that of course the guy who literally wants to build a gas-powered data center in your backyard wants this election to be about trans people.

Trans rights becoming a national talking point is bad for us. It's the worst kind of issue for cis people to get involved in: one they don't understand or really care about. There are no consequences for them. They can be face meltingly wrong and it doesn't matter; it won't affect them anyway.
