There’s a bunch of great artists involved, Fred Wierum did some real nice pieces for this as well.

Yes, it’s an official JP trading card game!

It’s being made in Korea, but an English release was just confirmed yesterday and should come out around end of November.

Closeup & BTS.

Following the blog post by Mark Witton, this guy has some fur but is far from woolly. The idea being that it would depend on geographic range or season. The extent of the hair is inspired by Asian elephants and suids, particularly the Visayan Warty Pig.

As some behind the scenes, Planet Zoo was a big help with figuring out the perspective and the University of Michigan's collection of scanned 3D mastodons was invaluable. Photos of New Jersey's Pine Barrens by Richard Lewis were also a huge inspiration.

Some closeups.

This is my first elaborate landscape piece and paleoart piece, and I'm very happy with how it turned out. This was an awesome opportunity as it brought together a lot of things I enjoy but don't draw nearly enough.

Some closeups. Wanted this ready in time for the final operating day, but hopefully I'm not too far off.

Apologies for the late reply. I don’t dislike the idea of them getting into JPOG down the road, I’d just hate to dump the models at someone else’s feet and make them do it.

I think Patrik Cauan was working on and off on a JPOG mod for the vanilla arcade models. Not sure I’d have time to get my edits in-game on top of everything else I’m doing.

Extra pics. For the comparison pic, new model’s on the left, old one on the right.
