Obsessed with fantasy maps and tabletop campaign writing. Right now, I am all in on creating things in miniature, painting miniatures, and hand drawing maps! Here is the first map I created with India ink and coffee.

I am still working on this storm giant. I may set him aside a bit and focus on something else for a while. I am struggling with his cloud shield right now. Although, I did get some neon paints in to attempt glowy stuff soon.

When I was little, my dad bought me kid workbooks to study math, science, and writing. I thought these were so fun, like puzzle books and they came with stickers too. I never grew out of enjoying workbooks. I am in my 40s now and still being curious, although I have to buy my own stickers now.

The most successful I have been with sticking to exercising and losing weight is when I play Beat Saber every morning. I sometimes feel like I am the only one in the world who still absolutely loves this game. You just cant beat light sabers and music.

I added base color to the storm giant. This took a bit of time, but I am happy with the dark blue I mixed. I plan to watch some how-to videos to figure out how best to approach adding depth and layering colors. #dndminiatures #miniaturepainting #paintingminiatures

Back from a trip finally and decided to go ahead and prime a group of minis today. Some my husband printed and some were store bought. I have a few in here that are the old pewter ones as well.

My kids and husband have been asking for me to continue the dnd campaign I was writing. I have been putting it off since I keep trying to upskill for work in my free time. Now, I think I need to lean more into what gives me joy. So, I am back to writing and painting minis and feeling much better.

#hobbystreak day 4. The print is rough with shallow gaps. I decided to pack in the gaps with a PVA glue mixture I made a long time ago. It may peel or turn yellow, but I thought it was worth a go. I am not stressed about it since I feel more free experimenting with painting techniques on it.
