Somebody left two credits on a machine at the Round One. I haven't touched a SFIII 3rd Strike arcade cabinet in more than a decade. Managed to get a round against Gill. I'm rusty AF. Also Q is a crap character, always has been, always will be. I don't understand why people think he's interesting.

Spent my time with D thinking how much Sharon Stone would kill in this role, which I guess was not a huge leap of my imagination
At the end of a brief interview for the Nov. 17, 1995 issue of The PlayStation magazine, Kenji Eno revealed that D no Shokutaku's protagonist Laura Harris was modeled after Sharon Stone's character Lori Quaid from the movie Total Recall (1990).

Just to be clear: Yoko Kobayashi designed what were perhaps Sega’s two best-known characters in the 1980s (Opa Opa and Alex Kidd were the two characters who appeared most frequently in games at the time), and she was completely unknown until recently.

With tech advancements becoming more & more costly, more companies need to look with achieving more with the tech of the past. Of course what that actually means is putting in more work & time, but what *doesn't* mean that when it comes to dev time?

"Half-Life: Alyx" doesn't get enough credit for just how good it looks. And all of it is super optimized, so I'm assuming it relies on a lot of non-current tech to achieve that. Like, is all of that lighting just baked in? Looks gorgeous. As always "great graphics" is actually "great art direction"

It doesn't happen very often for obvious reasons, but I love watching people stream "Half-Life: Alyx", especially when they get to the "Jeff" chapter. 😆 So many just perfectly executed moments in that game.
