personally i'm unable to tolerate this bc i actually not only do not believe in 'ends justify the means' but also in fact do not recognise any of the individual parts of that sentence as making sense. the morality of the means is the /only/ thing that matters, it even defines how moral the end is
people learning this cliche has been very annoying because it basically asks you to make no moral judgments about the methods by which someone fights for a moral cause

I need everyone to understand that "law and order" is a euphemism of fascism. That the people most obsessed with that phrase are inevitably seeking a society of domination where they are the dominators.
When Democratic politicians set out to preserve "law and order" under the reign of Donald Trump, they are siding with fascism.

Unless we can acknowledge porn is art and deserves the same kind of critical scrutiny as anything else and agree that “but it makes me horny” shouldn’t be a thought terminating statement and that horny is something to be interrogated we can’t address potential harms or arrive at better horny.
