What would you use Filters for? Disable Character and Dialogue for pure action, uncheck everything but those two for dialogue alone. Seven boxes, seven elements, mix and match however the read calls for it.

The Outline Panel, a better way to shuffle scenes than index cards or a legal pad. Useful from a blank idea to a finished draft: drag a scene to reorder it, and if it’s written, the written scene moves right along with it.

Set the mood for your story. A color for every mood. A vibe for every writer.

Focus Mode strips everything but the script.

Want to write at the beach? Sun Mode gives you maximum contrast in black and white, with zoom scaling on the fly.

The Sequences Panel lets you find the threads running through your story. In this example, The Boy, the days are sequenced, and separately, every scene the ghost appears in, layered to show where he's present, where he's quiet.

A calendar inside your screenwriting app where you can create events and link them to scenes. Would that be useful?

Link an event to its scene, click it, jump straight there. Sort chronologically or by story order.

ConstructureScreenwriter.com opens your Final Draft files.

Opening a script from Final Draft into Constructure is as simple as opening the file. Exporting back to Final Draft is one click in the File menu.

Just don't be surprised if you don't want to go back.

Create the architecture of a screenplay in the Beats Panel: set a page length goal, then lay in beats like clips on a video editing timeline.

Layer and color to track separate threads at once, red for The Boy's scenes, yellow for Rick and Chrissy's arc.

The Dead Darlings Panel is a morgue where the dead can come back. When a line's too good to delete and too wrong to keep, send it there instead, out of the script, not gone.

Only one button makes it permanent, the one you choose on purpose.

The Pacing Panel turns your script into a skyline: one bar per scene, taller for longer, blue for action, teal for dialogue. Longest action block, longest speech, flagged under the chart. Click any bar to land there.

The Sequences Panel groups scenes and names the stretch: "The Heist," "The Search." That name travels with the scenes as you write, colors across the outline and character views, then lives in the Substructure Timeline more than the panel that made it.

The Outline Panel does what index cards or a legal pad did, but better: lays out what happens where, shows what needs to move. What paper never could do is move it for you.

Drag a scene here, and the actual draft reorders with it.

The Beats Panel marks where a turn should land, by page, and keeps that target in view as you write.

Set a goal length, and every beat plots against it. Drift past where one should land, and you see it immediately.

The Characters Panel. What's actually in a profile?

Wants and needs, tracked separately, because they rarely line up. Motivation, fear, and dialogue pattern live with the character, not scattered notes. Optional, there when a scene isn't working.

The Title Page+. What's the plus?

Logline and synopsis live in the same panel as your title, author, and contact info, the two things every submission asks for, finally attached to the script they describe.

Build a screenplay. See the structure.

Draft on the left. Structure on the right: twelve panels tracking beats, characters, sequences, and locations, plus a Substructure Timeline along the bottom mapping your whole story at a glance.

NOSTALGIA IS NOT A FEATURE.

Every character, every sequence, every beat, contextualized and visualized. Same industry-standard page. Everything around it built for the computer you're holding, not the desk your professor used to sit at.
