"Some fascists wear balaclavas so let's stop anyone wearing any type of mask at protests" is a really dangerous take and will harm people protecting their health and their safety.
No more masked men on Glasgow’s streets

Neo-Nazis and football hooligans in balaclavas have terrorised the city. The police have powers to ban anyone from wearing a mask if they believe it’s linked to violence. Use those powers so ordinary people can feel safe again

In @heraldscotland.bsky.social
'Want to clampdown on racist thugs rampaging in the streets? Then ban all face masks'
It’s now common to see masked demonstrators dressed in black terrorising Glasgow. The police have the powers to stop this and must use them now,…

This was my families situation for two years and after being finally given vaccine access @teamlabouruk.bsky.social deprived our families again and left us with out of date, expensive covid vaccines and no protections for an airborne virus. @zackpolanski.bsky.social www.youtube.com/watch?v=3diK...

The pandemic, or rather responses to it, have certainly caused immense harm but also spawned amazing new art forms and creativity. This is the first known event of its kind to assemble different genres of COVID-conscious performance into a single airborne-aware programme 👏

Today 15/3 is International #LongCovidAwarenessDay & landmarks will be lit up in teal (campaign colour). Awareness is sorely needed e.g. that people still get it, most are working age, had no known health issues, there's no cure & few (ever fewer) services - & that it's an indoor air quality issue.

It’s International Long Covid Awareness Day.

One of the best things you can do to support people with Long Covid is wear a mask (ideally a respirator like an N95).

Masks break chains of transmission.

They prevent infection.

The only way to avoid Long Covid is to avoid Covid!

Depressing to see Guardian claim that 3:4 ppl suffer burnout and implying that anyone suffering fatigue probably has that. Because fatigue cannot ever be #LongCovid, can it? Oh, and the only UK source cited says 1:3 UK adults have suffered high stress levels last year (bad, but not 75% burnout).
