They used time travel as a plot device well, the minor plot arcs were all very interesting, and it presents Picard in a much more raw, emotional state than you've ever seen before (well, except for "there are four lights") as he's fighting an enemy he is very intimately familiar with

TRUE. I went to jewel this weekend and they had two lanes open, one of which was express checkout only. both of them had at least 8 people in line at any given time. they really need to staff better smh

also buy an unlocked pixel (or Motorola once that's out) and sideload graphene: grapheneos.org

Most notably, Google is making sideloading impossible with new requirements for verification that ALL developers must meet, and making it generally a pain in the ass to use anything except the Play Store. This makes it easier for them to enforce their ad monopoly.

they also basically hold a monopoly over web browsers since most other browsers internally use Chromium, and they hold a monopoly over everything except the iPhones with Android. Carriers also enforce this with bootloader locks and other means.

friendly reminder that google is NOT a search engine or cloud service, they are an advertising company and one of the biggest ones out there. they actively thrive off your data and implement hostile policies in their products and web standards for more money (i.e. Manifest V3, Web Integrity API)
