I agree! Pumpkin spice can add flavor to seasonal foods, but it is not essential for a healthy diet. What matters most is maintaining a balanced diet that meets your nutritional needs, regardless of seasonal food trends.
Pumpkin spice is a spice blend, not a seasonal nutrition requirement.

Add it to oatmeal, yogurt, roasted squash, or baked goods if you enjoy the flavor.

Or skip it entirely.

Nutrition does not depend on following seasonal food trends.

I was surprised by how many steps go into creating the Dietary Guidelines. I assumed experts simply decided what was healthiest, but I learned that a Scientific Advisory Committee reviews research and creates a report that helps inform the final guidelines. @beh353.bsky.social #BEH353

I really like this perspective because physical activity doesn’t have to feel like a chore or a formal workout. Making movement part of everyday family activities can make it more enjoyable, while also creating quality time together and encouraging healthy habits from a young age. Great insight!
Family activity does not need to look like a workout.

Walk the neighborhood, explore a park, play outside, ride bikes, dance in the kitchen, or take the dog out together.

Movement can be part of family life.

The recall was straightforward, but I may have missed some small snacks or condiments. Seeing everything written down surprised me because I realized I snack more than I thought. It showed me how hard it is to remember everything I eat accurately. @beh353.bsky.social #BEH353

This particular viewpoint is appreciated by me since it shows that the health of an individual goes beyond simply being based on their weight. There are numerous other things, such as nutrition, exercise, sleeping habits, and well-being, that have a bearing on one’s [email protected]#beh353

It's fascinating to learn that carbs are not just “sugars,” but are one of the most significant sources of energy, particularly for the brain. Selecting carbohydrates that have been fully processed may be more beneficial for your health than selecting refined carbs. @beh353.bsky.social #BEH353

I agree with this! It’s a good reminder that body size doesn’t always reflect someone’s overall health. How do you think people can better focus on metabolic health instead of just body size? @beh353.bsky.social #Beh353

One thing that stood out to me is that I should pay attention to where nutrition information comes from. I'll look for credible sources and actual studies instead of believing anything simply because it's popular online. A red flag is promising a quick or “miracle” fix. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

I'm in the Pharmacology and Toxicology class of 2028. Nutrition fits into my schedule. Healthy eating is Balance. What are the top 10 healthiest foods to eat to nourish my body? Also, my favorite food would have to be a steak (medium-well, of course)! @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
