I kinda feel like I’ve been trying to sleep in as long as possible because I just kinda want to avoid the parts of the day that actually matter but I am also staying up as late as possible because after like 11:00 pm stuff definitely doesn’t matter anymore

unfortunately millennials are unable to credibly recommend any of our music or movies or anything else to younger generations. although we grew up with a lot of great stuff, we blew all our credibility by spending decades talking about space jam, a boring movie for babies

Seriously what happens to these Funko pop Channels when there's a flood or they have to sell everything to make rent? Do they just record videos in front of a blank wall? When you define yourself by the things you own, what happens? Is that just Ego Death? A cautionary tale for the children.
Sometimes I worry about the Funko Pop people. Are they doin alright? Someone should really check up on that.

I probably should delete my instagram but every time I try to do it I get a text from my mom telling me she sent me something she thought I’d like in the messages and she takes it really personally if I don’t like whatever she sends me even if I have literally zero interest in whatever it is

Last summer I taught a sewing class at a cosplay camp and the kids loved it
Even did wigs and stuff
Probably going to need to beef up the curriculum for a whole summer though
Maybe get into prop making?

My biggest conspiracy theory is that telling working class people that engagement in the arts is a middle / upper class thing and to do so makes you a class traitor is a psyop to make them disengaged with themselves and the world and the beauty of being human, so that they accept worse treatment.
I read a history of early 20th century socialism and it's crazy how much of it is just clubs doing art or reading books and trying to get miners and factory workers to do art and read books.
