Good to know I am not alone.

Pretty sure that this will not be just star wars since they deliberately put it into the universes beyond category. You wouldn't do that if you just want to put one thing in there.

...the same shit there?
Like DnD is not even competitve.

I must confess I don't know much about the distribution of DnD rulebooks.
I would assume that the collectible aspect of mtg would be the reason for their policy in distributing them. Especially since in a DnD playgroup usually only one person has to get the thing. But are they really just doing...

Of course it is a money grab in the end. But at least unlike MtG it will not heavily impact the player experience if you want to stay in universe.
But I would also imagine that unlike MtG, the DnD rulebooks would be printed for demand. At least thats what my possibly naive ass would hope for.

... to come up with their own rules for it anymore.

You can probably make a fun in universe jedi reskin for your dnd campaign that uses the starwars rulebook but you just use different terms to make it fit the world. Afaik "I want to be like that one thing from that universe but in dnd" is a thing most DMs have heard before and now they don't have...

Darth Vader will never have to fight the tarrasque if your DM doesn't want that to happen.

Can we be reasonable for a moment and acknowledge that this could actually be an interesting new thing because DnD is not MtG.

I am a grown ass man.

50th anniversary can't be right. I am not that old!

Ich weiß, heutzutage ne kontroverse meinung aber bei uns ist es die butter. Haben wir immer so gesagt und das lass ich mir auch nicht wegnehmen!!1!

I have brallin and shabras who go for a fun cycling deck and pramikon who twists the rules of the game in a fun way.

Have you really played then or have you just watched them play solitair after like three turns?

Ugh,*creatures*. I don't feel like reposting to fix the typo lol
