As an activist, the strategy re: pushing a candidate/elected to staying quiet on a particular issue vs to saying exactly what you want about that issue is an important one that I think is currently undervalued. Yes, we live in a state of constant crisis, but no we can’t forget about the long game.

There are officially now more DSA voters than MAGA voters. So, when is the media going to stop treating DSA as an exotic monster and giving DSA voters the same respectful reverence that we’ve heard in countless rural diner interviews etc for the last decade ???

It’s telling that SCOTUS claims that biological sex is an acceptable basis for restrictive state law but then refuses to define what that is. Gives away the whole game - It’s almost like we don’t walk around examining each other’s genitals etc but rely on social presentation instead (ie, GENDER!)
