One sure way to get me to eye roll, close tab, and never return to your post/blog?
Use a generic ai thumbnail image. I mean come on, at least try to prompt it not to look like slop. Or is a few extra keystrokes too much?

Just submitted macOS port of yapa. Very first macOS app, quite excited!!
In this day and age of vibe coding and ai agents creating a simple app isn’t anything special. But pleaasee!! im still proud of what I’ve done! even if it’s full of bugs, it’s my own lazy and messy bugs 😂

Some progress update on my port. I’m reducing spacing on macOS and some font size. I still want to keep the overall feel similar to iOS though, just distinct enough to tell it’s a Mac app.

Some progress update on my port. I’m reducing spacing on macOS and some font size. I still want to keep the overall feel similar to iOS though, just distinct enough to tell it’s a Mac app.

Update ui widgets for my lil focus app. Much cleaner!
Next goal is to do a quick and simple port to macOS. Aiming not to redo too much ui if I don’t have to. Already seeing a couple of things though, like list swipe ux needs an alternative on macOS.

Very happy with my lastest update to my focus timer app. Just got approved!
Spent a good month redoing a bit of the data models and ui. Using SwiftData so there are limits when it comes to that. Ofc I could learn about migrations, but that’ll come in time.
