Don't worry if it's not good. There are people out there prompting LLMs and calling themselves 'artists' because of the output.

Drawing a stick figure, make a casio-keyboard sounding loop, write a trashy one-scene fanfic, etc., takes more skill than that. If they're artists, then so are you 🫵

I hate this! "It can't be that bad, I've never heard of that" and I have had doctors say "that can't happen" when it's later proved that 'Surprise!' it can.

Had the tip of my nose cut off a couple days ago and a skin graft from my ear. Fuck cancer.

On the plus side, I'm in Australia so the surgery and specialists are free.

Fingers crossed the graft takes and the test results show they got it all.

Health and being abled are not virtues. Nobody who is healthy/abled is any better as a person than someone with a chronic illness or who is disabled. The systemic notion that health/ability equals "inherently good" is the core of health supremacy, and it's not okay. 🖤💙😷🥄

A small operation in Oregon that hunts truffles with a trained dog has an added unpaid trainee. A cat named Larry accompanies the handler and the truffle dog into the woods every outing, works a patch of ground a little apart from them, and digs with tremendous confidence in places where there is nothing. The handler says Larry has never found a truffle and shows no sign of understanding the assignment. He does not use scent the way the dog does and he does not respond when the dog makes a find. He simply digs his own holes nearby and then inspects them. "He thinks he's on the team," the handler said. "He is emphatically not on the team."
