This is obviously such cowardly loser behavior but I do wish that if anyone ever tried to make me do a work task I wasn't into, I could just leave for several months while continuing to collect a salary.

I believe pretty strongly that it being 40+ year olds leading the charge to AI everything is not an insignificant factor in young people rejecting it. being ordered to use AI by teachers, bosses, corporate. being told that it's necessary for career prospects. being advertised to constantly.
