me and my wife watch a lot of youtube "what happened to this store or brand from when you were a kid?" and the answer is almost always "bought with unserviceable debt it was then forced to carry after the people who borrowed took what they wanted until its inevitable collapse"
seriously this is gonna leave the combined company 87 billion in debt that they'll start writing off immediately and as soon as they can they'll create a new company out of the less valuable brand without its most valuable assets but carrying most of that debt load
i for one am excited for paramount skydance to strip WB of everything worthwhile and then spin it off saddled with crippling debt

BREAKING: Paramount has reached a settlement with California and other states suing to block its acquisition of Warner Bros, per Bloomberg.
The settlement comes after California AG Rob Bonta caved and stopped trying to block the merger.
The final four holdout states have now conceded as well.

On Windows, I installed the US Extended (modern MacOS) keyboard layout here, which makes right alt function the same as "option" on the mac keyboard (diacritics, mathematical symbols, and my beloved em dash).
