John C. Calhoun wasn't a conservative; he was a radical. Stephen Miller isn't a conservative; he's a radical. "Tradition" isn't a real thing that once existed and we can go back to, or something worth conserving, but an imaginary place that they'll destroy the current world to create.

There's a concept in international relations, specifically power transition theory, called a "revisionist state." Basically, the idea is that a revisionist state will tear down the whole international state system because they think it's unfair to them personally. Sound familiar?

The question I am left with after reading this isn't about AI; it's about opportunity and how race and place determine it:

If Black African students are writing essays that get the US students into college, then shouldn't those Black African students have a chance to go to those same colleges too?
