I'm serious when I say I've lost track of all the recent revelations of literal Nazis working in high-level positions in Republican congressional campaigns and I would very much appreciate a journalist who took the time to detail as many of them as can fit into an article.
Ossoff: "Then there's the ex-staffer posting swastikas and Klan regalia. And the neo-Nazi with a million followers who produces neo-Nazi propaganda at Collins's house ... a man who won't take responsibility for what happens under his own roof can't be trusted with our national affairs."

New — I wrote about this weird thing where people within the Republican party keep being exposed as Nazis and the party then tries to claim each one is an aberration. The facts, as I lay out here, indicate otherwise:
Republicans don’t have a Nazi problem—they are the Nazi problem
A spate of recent revelations have shown the ideologies and their adherents are one and the same.

I grew up in the woods, and let me tell you, there is nothing more stifling than the politics in a small town where every single person knows you, your mama, your granny, and your third cousin Beulah Ann.
I see the NYT is still platforming 'dei crushed white men' bullsh*t. Here it's buried in a 'why rural themed pop culture' is so popular in a piece written by a Princeton grad who lives in New York City.

Your regular reminder -- yes, I'm going to keep on with this -- that Republicans in Congress are just fine with everything he's doing.

Perhaps a once in a lifetime shot. 🪶 🐣

OK, a day later than planned, here we GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

What time is it, kiddies? That's right, it's Litigation Disaster Tourism time! And whoah nellie! there's a lot here.

Ground rules:
1: I'm going to do this until I'm too tired or bored to continue. No telling how long that will be.
OK - Coming attractions time.

I found this wonderful paragraph in a federal court filing (specifically, in a motion to dismiss). It's one of the most amazing string cites (kinda) I've seen. The full case is amazing; I'll do a litigation disaster tourism thread tomorrow.

i think there's something to this idea that America selects for spinelessness in its elites. Maybe an odd example but something that's always striking to me is, for sports broadcaster, the skill that is overwhelmingly preferred is being able to always say "Invesco Field" before "Mile High Stadium"

Mike Johnson never has had any moral center. He has no love for any part of the Bible that doesn't include stoning. And Herrera is the R trying to replace the guy who cheated on his wife with a staffer he drove to suicide. This is who the GOP is.
HOLY SHIT - Tapper plays Johnson footage of GOP candidate Brandon Herrera describing moms as "cum trophies," mentions he called Nazi machine guns "the original ghetto blasters," & asks Johnson how he can support him. Mike says "he has run a very effective campaign ... that was his persona online"
