The funny thing is, Trump thinks a political ad featuring himself, paid for with taxpayer money (clearly illegal) is going to help Republicans. He doesn't realize he is the most unpopular president in history. These commercials are going to hurt Republicans.

I have said this for years, and the response is “then nothing would ever get passed.” But each bill, one item, up-down vote. Boom. Make them shorter where the lawmakers can actually read them. And the lawmakers should have study groups where they go over this stuff together. Best practices, y’all.
