This is just the “quick” version of the quiz but given I was born in and raised by New Yorkers but have spent most of my life in Tucson? Not bad.

There is a squirrel that lives in my sister and BIL’s front yard, and one day, the dog is going to *get* that motherfucker

Finished my cousin’s wedding sampler. I messed up when I was cutting the fabric in such a way that the kind thing to do would be to mount it before sending it…but that’s not a tonight project

Stopped on the way to the grocery store and got my summer reading swag!

Last dose of Paxlovid down (along with all my other evening anti-COVID meds). Very glad I was able to access it, and a double course at that, but if I never have to taste this crap again it will be too soon. (And yet I will have my doctor write me another on-hand scrip when I see her next month)

Also who the fuck brought up race, you weirdo?
August 9, 2026 at 5:53 PM
My morning meds for COVID infection! The three larger pills together are a dose of Paxlovid, the white pill with a “G” on it is 500 mg of metformin (see shouldntneedtobealawyer.com/posts/metfor...), the two small pills are loratidine and famotidine (see bsky.app/profile/raha...), and a Hot Tamale.

I invested in serious (not pumice stone) callus remover for my feet because some of the calluses have been bothering me and holy crap did it exceed my expectations for being highly satisfying and slightly gross. (Behind the filter: a picture of the remover with all my dead skin in it)

Th little purple one is definitely a MLP. The pink one is hard plastic not the squishy kind but it does have the icon on the butt? But I also know it used to have a detachable tail that has been lost to time.

Basically finished with the moon. Not sure if I’ll start on the leaves and flowers tonight or not.

Attempting to redeem my day.

Well, that’s the end of @indivisible.org for me. It was a good decade, but they’ve endorse a neonazi mercenary who abuses women. If that’s the Democratic Party they think we need, then we don’t share the values I thought we did.

My mom wanted to learn to pipe frosting so we practiced together today (I don’t have a picture of her finished cake, which is sad, because she tried to make a heart, decided it looked more like a uterus, and added fallopian tubes and ovaries 😄)
June 6, 2026 at 12:07 AM
Behold: cake!

(Now cool, dammit, it’s past my bedtime)

Got a perfect picture of “morning snuggles” today

To my recollection this person didn’t used to be like this, but they are now and folks following them might want to reconsider that. bsky.app/profile/erup...

Noooo Grian did the thing I can’t stand. Telescopes *do not* stick out of the observatory building! That would defeat the entire point of the building, which exists to protect the telescope. I know it’s a cartoon trope, but if you look up a *single* real telescope, you’d see.

Please welcome John, the first member of the first moderation list I’ve ever made, who is explicitly ok with giving money to Nazis and also thinks I’m making up the substack fee structure. bsky.app/profile/did:...

A day late, but I did it. Chag Purim!

Today: surprisingly hard to photograph, but I love this little moon-and-star set
