I think every major company is looking at open weight AI models and realizing they can just bring them in house with an internal engineering team and cut out the frontier model companies to save money. They have more control and privacy. I really don't see frontier labs surviving this.

The terror spreading across the country this a.m. because in some more progressive corners of the US progressives won elections is telling.
