cooked 3 pounds of ground turkey with onions & garlic & got beans on for their first cook
Making a giant pot of chili & gonna eat cozy things all weekend & put up the rest of the browned meat for easy meals later

Picked up my groceries which included a drive past the vet with an allmmost unsafe amount of crying. But I took my car cat & errand buddy Gracie, who makes everybody happy when they see her looking out the car window like a puppy & she made 3 friends

Oh my God my heart is so broken over my kitty. We had a whole bedtime routine with him so he wouldn't be hungry during the night so now I can't go in the bathroom without losing my mind

5pm appointment to let this perfect boy not hurt anymore. Next month would've been 21 years with him in our hearts & home.
He was 17.5 pounds of muscle. Vets used to say "he has a giant skull!" He's a beast of a cat. Grew up with my babies. I love him so much.

Took our 21yo boy to the vet to start his palliative care plan. Today he received a pain med they put on like a flea med (on the back of his neck) that lasts about 4 days.
The carrier is very distressing for him, so when we're not moving or transferring him to the vet's office, he gets lap time.

I'm glad I wasn't raised by "it's just a cat" people & don't have any in my life, because I am turned inside out by our kitty's diagnosis yesterday.
He's not in any pain & is behaving normally for an old guy aside from the limp, so we're managing w/gabapentin while we wait for the biopsy results.

I'm glad I wasn't raised by "it's just a cat" people & don't have any in my life, because I am turned inside out by our kitty's diagnosis yesterday.

Gift alert if you have a dad in your life to shop for! I think they're only for sale through August.
It was a real missed opportunity that they didn't make this a gift set with a tiny can. And maybe the tiny holster. But it's still fun & useful.
