For this piece I mixed Tolkien's fantasy with cultivation novels, a subgenre of xianxian fantasy where characters refine their spiritual energy through martial arts and music🎶

There is an open door, where there were no doors before. It stands, unsupported by wall or roof, in a clear open space and appears to lead nowhere at all – each side being perfectly visible to those looking at it. The only sign that it is not an inexplicably abandoned piece of architecture is the fact that it hums softly, almost like the quiet buzzing of bees. This and the carving on each of its sides; the word ‘’Welcome’, repeated three times, in whatever language those looking at it are able to best understand. These two things, and the fact – unbeknownst to all but their crafter – there is not one door, but many.
