Haha, I get attached to some of my copies too, especially the special editions with sprayed edges. Those are my babies.

I love adventure fantasy but managed to miss this one when it came out in 1996. I just added it to my reading list.

I haven’t dived into Donna Leon’s books yet, but I’m looking forward to it. She’s so prolific. Is there one you’d recommend starting with?

Thanks, and I can see why that throws it off for you. It’s tricky to find a good balance when you want to fit smaller paperbacks beside larger hardcovers.

I feel the same way. Being an authentic part of the community makes a difference. When you do share your own book, people have context for who you are and what you love.
