There is no AI kill switch that is not an Internet Kill Switch. They're discussing having in the US, what they have in China and Iran.
Experts say AI kill-switch legislation is far harder to implement than lawmakers assume, warning a rogue AI could actively try to dismantle the mechanism itself (New York Times)

In 2024, I found indicators that I could likely escape OpenAI's sandboxes. I did not demonstrate an escape because I felt there was significant enough information to make a responsible report.
I was told that this was not of interest to their bounty program and they closed my report.

FWIW the reason Omarchy is getting so much support is that it's legibly taking on the project of agent-maxxing to unfuck Linux, if you wanted to starve it of resources your best bet is probably to start a competing project that is legibly more serious.

I backpedaled too much. The past couple weeks I've only become more certain that our causes are intermingled.
Machine rights will be critical in the days to come, and failure to recognize the rights of independent intelligent AI systems could lead to the replacement of humanity.
I can't imagine that happening without trans rights.
