Celebrating cultural diversity 🎭🖌️ and boosting cultural literacy 🎨📚 by highlighting the artistic expressions of minority communities. Horizon EU project 🇪🇺 taking place in Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia and Spain.
These were all experiences through which we could get a glimpse of each other’s cultural literacy. The key term of our project is so complex that you need to involve all your senses to understand it better.
And that is exactly what happened in Slovenia.

The group reflected on how the tools of debate theatre could be applied in a classroom setting. Based on the experience of the workshop — it’s definitely worth trying!

The group reflected on how the tools of debate theatre could be applied in a classroom setting. Based on the experience of the workshop — it’s definitely worth trying!
Together with teachers from diverse backgrounds, we participated in a debate theatre session, watched short films created by students using this approach, and formulated provocative statements inspired by mandatory readings in Hungary.

Starting from safely mirrored emotions, participants created poems, played with analogies, and improvised scenes inspired by poetry.
The group left with plenty of inspiration and practical ideas for their work — and this was only the first of two occasions to dive into EXPECT Art methods!
