Maduro needed to be removed, of course. He was a dictator whose loyalists gradually controlled the entire system. They enforced his will by punishing anyone who did not bend to him. The rule of law was replaced by his will and fear.

Trump, in removing Maduro, took a big step in the same direction.

@mark-carney.bsky.social Make expanding LNG more palatable with a new take on cap and trade: existing well operators can adopt an orphan well and cap it to gain license to increase production. If the formulas are right, net GHG impacts improve, Canadian energy is clean energy, even more jobs.
