Learning is a collaborative enterprise and I learn from them every day. They are not customers - they're co-producers of knowledge.

They are the best part of my job. Class time, office hour visits, running into them on campus or in the world? The best part of my job.

I did have to adjust the formatting to make it look right as a zine in bookfold, but that was easy. Now we'll see if I get it together to make a version old school with cut out letters, drawings, cut & paste images etc.

I still have a screen reader friendly PDF to post so students can access it.

I can simply set up the pages to booklet or book fold or whatever and run copies of the document or I can do it with pens, stickers, scissors & glue then photocopy old school!!

I may or may not have acquired an adjustable saddle stapler to facilitate this and other crafty projects.

It’s such a bummer. Online/asynchronous/virtual teaching can be incredibly valuable and with a little extra structure can be an amazing and scalable resource but now AI has rendered the whole enterprise impossible.

The paper is rarely the end goal. The writing process, critical thinking, analysis, research process, creative process? Those are the end goals.
