That’s the thing, tho: these are designed to sell, not to last. The point is getting the techbros to fork over money to the builder right now. And when the 💩 hits the fan and the bunker is falling apart in a month? What are they gonna do, sue?

It’s not partisan polarization when describing the electorate. We need to discuss the electorate more now as three groups: captured by RW info ecosystem, susceptible to it, and outside of it but still affected by it. The first 2 groups are about 55% of voters.

I get that most of the WHPC is now just RW chuds, but there are literally records of what we transferred that reporters could get to confirm this & follow up. And even add, "but you knew what the stockpile situation was when you returned, why didn't you make replenishing them a priority?

I think about the boxer Imane Kelief at the Olympics. Assigned female at birth, raised female, always competed as a female. Even IF there is some combo of genetic markers that might be more common in stereotypical males, she meets their dumb “what’s yer plumbing?” *test*

1) Black girls will be harassed and demanded to be tested over and over again regardless of how competitive they are.
2) Winners from public schools will be relentlessly hounded by the parents and coaches of losers at private schools, with the goal of making them quit the sport.

If I were part of a Dem Project Nega2025, I'd want to make a serious run at trying to "de-financialize" our economy as it seems to the core enabler of so much terribleness. Tax the rich, yes, but it is extremely limited as most of the ultrawealthy's resources are illiquid. But they can tap money 1/x

You also can’t have any bad luck. There are just no margins anymore, no space to get back on your feet. The New Deal created that America; the GOP has spent the last 40 years trying make life like the late 19th century again. That’s the root of the “vibecession”
“because i made poor decisions” is a really important part of this. there’s no room in this world to fuck up and fail, and that’s, in my opinion, a real problem.
i am going to work until i die, because the work i do is not valued, because i made poor decisions, and because that is how things work. i am glad that smart people got to cash out of that, but i don’t have to pretend they’re better than me for it.
