I'm gonna be real with you: I hate the trend of goofy movie popcorn buckets. Not taking feedback on this. Please stop.
The ‘STREET FIGHTER’ popcorn bucket is Guile's hair.

You can wear the bucket on your head.

I'm playing The Witcher (2007). This is kind of hilariously bad.

1. Luck into the god-tier Eldrazi deck
2. Lose

The Temple of Ember in SALT AND SACRIFICE has the highest concentration of UTTER MOTHERFUCKING BULLSHIT of any area in any video game I’ve ever seen.

“The writers‘ strike killed HEROES” is one of the most weirdly persistent TV myths I can think of.

Letterboxd is a great website because you can read about how it was “irresponsible“ for a writer-director to make the movie he wanted to make instead of the movie the user wanted to see.

Give me barebones ports or give me nothing.
Video games the only genre where people seriously advocate for remaking influential titans of the medium. No one goes "Oh they need to remake The Godfather and Seven Samurai and Jaws!" But with video games everyone's like "Oh yeah, Resident Evil 4 is a masterpiece. They should Fix it."

So gambling on anything is now legal if you call it “trading”? Is that how this works?

One of Hideo Kojima's real talents is that he would have exactly this idea but the stew would be dropped off by a drone that sings a little jingle which can alert enemies if they're in range. You then get a phone call from a nuclear scientist who warns you not to eat too much starch and dairy.
yeah sure whatever, let lara croft cook potato stew on her phone for 2m0s of damage resistance who gives a shit anymore

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the intensity of someone’s negative opinion on “reshoots” is inversely proportional to their understanding of how movies are made.

I think a lot of ground was lost when, for some reason, loads of people agreed to start using “creative” as a noun.

I see the Brits had their own “What’s the World Trade Center?”
29 years ago that mum woke me up stupidly early to say Diana had died. I blearily responded with “who’s Diana?” Thinking it was a great aunt or similar.

Ai is amazing, everyone wants it, and you're a Luddite decel for complaining about it, but now that they are letting people know that the things I make with Ai is actually made by Ai and not me, I have a problem. If I can't hide my lack of talent or effort, what even in the point?

I just want to mention:

Even if your AI somehow runs locally and you think it's okay, it's still using trained data from a pre-existing dataset which is still full of stolen work.

The sheer amount of data gen AI needs is in the hundreds of thousands, you can only get that by scraping
The gen AIs that most are familiar with were built using stolen creative work, but there are plenty of more niche gen AIs that do not use stolen work.

Sorry to be a "gaming purist" or whatever but I think it's genuinely a good thing to play the originals first. Sorry I think videogames are an art form and they also exist within certain historical contexts just like any book or movie or whatever. Yes even modern ones.

I don't think I'll ever understand the rabbid cultish devotion to GTA. Or frankly, most of Rockstar's lutput. The games just feel so dry and repetitive. Decent writing, and certainly very detailed, but the settings and gameplay just don't scream "endless hype" to me. Just always bewildered me
