We’re going to hear about how everyone loved Dolly, and that feels true. But it’s good to remember, and to her credit, that she was attacked for her AIDS activism, her vaccine advocacy, her LGBTQ+ support and even, more recently, for her reading initiatives. She ALWAYS stood firm when it mattered.

One of the many problems with having a brazenly corrupt government and AI generated media and accounts everywhere is that it becomes very difficult to trust anything and people jump to suspicion even when other human beings are interacting with them in good faith

I can’t believe Antony Starr never got an Emmy nomination for playing Homelander. I think it’ll go down as one of the most iconic TV performances of the decade.

A Wisconsin board says Elon Musk likely broke the law by giving voters $1 million.

Filthiest thing I've seen a billionaire do broad daylight in my lifetime. Strait out attacking democracy with money.

This "tweet" from a year ago has been deleted by its author. I'm posting here now on BlueSky as a reminder and as a public service, for anyone, should they ever need it.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

It would be a net positive for humanity to see the dissolution and demise of Meta. I doubt it'll happen, but we'd all be better off if it did.

Mitch McConnell hasn’t been seen or heard from in 25 days in the hospital.

Yet he still has a job, still getting paid, and getting unlimited world class healthcare.

The man who voted against a living wage, against universal healthcare, and against guaranteed paid leave, is now getting all three.

SHOCK NYT REPORT: DHS now admits the man ICE killed in Houston wasn't even their target. Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a 35-year U.S. resident, was just driving to work when agents — with no body cameras — shot him dead searching for two other men who weren't even in the van.

Famously, the police take allegations very seriously and aren’t perpetrators of domestic and sexual violence themselves. Famously, the court system is very tough on sexual violence and doesn’t go out of its way to protect perpetrators. And famously, this system is very accessible to all

It is truly incredible how some of these male leftists who correctly criticize the police and court system will turn around and say a rape allegation can’t be taken seriously unless it passes through the cops and courts

A lot of the people posting terrible takes about sexual violence victims know they’re wrong. It is an expression of solidarity with perpetrators, who tend to occupy higher positions of power, versus victims, who tend to be disempowered. Sometimes it is because they are perpetrators, too.

This was the intelligence available to Trump, his administration AND the Pentagon BEFORE any incursions into Iran.
THEREFORE:
Doesn't this make Trump and all responsible leaders in the Pentagon war criminals for killing a school full of innocent children in Iran?
Why haven't they all been removed?!
