It is only cognitive dissonance if it comes from the Cognitif region of France; otherwise, it is just sparkling hypocrisy.

Your regular reminder that if not for the Trump and Bush tax cuts, federal revenues would keep pace with federal spending indefinitely.

Instead, these tax cuts have added at least $10 trillion to the debt.

The so called "party of fiscal responsibility" is full of it.

Cruelty is a feature, not a bug.
A 20 million dollar order for shock gloves whose advertised virtue is leaving no burn marks or scars. That feature has one purpose, and it is not de-escalation. Losing 85 percent of deportation cases in court is what makes an agency shop for pain that cannot be photographed later.
ICE gloves reveal how Trump’s revenge agenda is failing

The man making a few extra bucks was arrested for the Gann fire. While he is pilloried by the legal system, the media, and the public, remember that PG&E has caused untold deaths and destruction and just budgets penalties as a line item to be passed on to consumers.

For decades, Republicans in Washington have told us that tax cuts would trickle down to workers.

Instead, wealth and power have accumulated in the hands of the richest 1% at the expense of the rest of us.

Trickle-down economics was never supposed to work.

It was a hoax.

I'm disturbed that this is the first I've heard of it.

This is the start of a modern day Axis Powers. We can only hope that this version is as uncoordinated, and ultimately as incompetent, as the WWII version.
Tomorrow, the House will vote on the NDAA, which includes a provision to merge parts of our military with the IDF.

This amendment is an existential threat to American sovereignty and democracy.

Every member of Congress must vote NO.

FBI not investigating ICE conflicts. DoJ not pursuing corporate crime.

Where my 'but checks and balances!' people at now?
Under Todd Blanche, the DOJ is prosecuting Trump's political foes and refusing to charge companies accused of actual criminal wrongdoing, like Chinese retailer Alibaba and Pharma giant Abbott.

He stands for the rule of Trump, not the rule of law.

The Senate must REJECT him.
