they believe trans people are "spoiled children" who may as well be asking for no bedtime and they behave towards trans people the way a parent behaves towards a child that is afraid of the bathtub drain
convinced some people's positions on trans issues can only be explained not by an active desire for trans elimination or fear of trans people and more for the idea that trans people don't have real problems. which is not rooted at all in material reality. so a pretty untenable position to have.

People don’t totally understand that the reason gay marriage happened in large part was because there were gay millionaires and billionaires. That’s it. Gay donor class. Undocumented folks, trans people, don’t have that, and thus can safely be ignored.
