I’ve had a weird day at work today. Working as a contractor in IT, for almost one year my client has been full on modernizing an application. It has been a slow but steady ride so far.

But now a decision has been made to stop our modernization work and just focus on maintaining the legacy system.

Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now

It's easy to miss a key feature of Node's TypeScript support that was released on Friday: it's zero config 💥

Meaning you don't need to put anything in package.json. Strictly speaking you don't even need a tsconfig to run the code.

The fucking head of fucking XBox Graphics used a fucking "AI" slop image to hire new engineers but couldn't tell that the fucking screen on the fucking monitor is facing backwards.
